In the fourth issue of our e-journal, readers will meet with studies of original music for films, such outstanding composers as A.Schnittke, F.Glass, M.Nayman, etc. On the other hand, the phenomenon of re-interpretation of classical music in the films directed by Tarkovsky and Kubrick is considered here. The borrowing of musical material in the postmodernism context raises a particular problem in mediamusic area. To look through at this problem, the prism of the philosophy of art is proposed. Apart from this, the concept of "simulational soundscapes" and questions on the "acoustic ecology" in films are discussed in one of the papers.
